Nearly 160 digital collection service platforms have been registered with the Cyberspace Administration of China (list attached)

On July 25th, the State Internet Information Office (hereinafter referred to as the “National Cyberspace Administration of China”) issued the announcement of the ninth batch of domestic blockchain information service filing numbers. 348 record numbers have been issued, including nearly 160 companies related to digital collections.

This is the first time that such a large-scale digital collection-related enterprise has been passed. Chinese laws and regulations have always held a cautious attitude towards digital collections and other related fields. The move also seems to suggest regulatory tolerance and support for the digital collection industry.

Among the approved digital collection companies, we found well-known companies such as NetEase Media, Chinese Online, SF Express, China UnionPay, and Xiaohongshu. Cultural and Creative Digital Collection Museum, SF Technology’s “Digital Collection Platform”, Chinese Online’s “Fifth Realm”, China UnionPay’s “Digital Collection Application Service Platform”, and Xingyin Information’s “Xiaohongshu Digital Collection Sale/ Publishing Services”.

From a geographical perspective, these digital collection-related services are mainly distributed in Beijing, Jiangsu, Hainan, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Guangzhou and other places.

However, it should be reminded that, according to the Cyberspace Administration of China, according to the “Regulations on the Administration of Blockchain Information Services” (hereinafter referred to as the “Administrative Regulations”), the Cyberspace Administration of China organizes filing and auditing work in accordance with laws and regulations. According to the requirements of the “Administrative Regulations”, blockchain information service providers shall mark their filing numbers in prominent locations such as Internet sites and applications that they provide services to. The filing is only the registration of the relevant information services of the subject blockchain, and does not represent the recognition of its institutions, products and services, and no institution or individual may use it for any commercial purposes.
