Microsoft Cortana Mail Briefing feature will support French, German and more languages

June 4, according to the news mspoweruser, Microsoft launched the mail briefing feature for Microsoft 365 in March 2020, based on the technology of Cortana voice assistant. This feature currently only supports English, launched to enterprise users and Exchange Online users, can automatically read Outlook inbox, from which extract valuable mail for the user to view, to start the day’s work. In addition, the feature can be set to turn off during work hours to avoid disturbing users.

Today Microsoft announced that the feature will support French, German, Italian, and Portuguese and is expected to be rolled out starting in June and completed by the end of August. Microsoft also said that in the next few quarters, developers would like to further expand the feature to more languages.

We learned that when the feature is turned on, users can quickly preview key messages from their emails in a stream on their phones, add them to their schedules, and mark them up. The feature can be disabled by Exchange service administrators as well as enterprise managers.
