Ruitao then showed the data obtained by Karura in Kusama’s first parallel chain auction. A total of 501,137.6619 KSMs were successfully contributed to Karura’s Crowdloan in this auction, with a total of 14,164 on-chain accounts participating and many CEXs (e.g. Kraken, OKEx, Kucoin, etc.) backing Karura’s Crowdloan, combining users who participate directly through decentralization, it is estimated that there are over 20,000+ total participants, which is a very good user base. Finally, Ruitao also showed the rewards of the Karura Crowdloan, where the promised 11 million KAR rewards will all be given to participants, with an average of 19+ KARs (including different stages of rewards) for each KSM contributed compared to the initial 1:12+ promise. rewards.

After successfully bidding for the parallel chain, Karura immediately launched a new operating platform with a black and pink interface that matches Kusama’s previous white and blue color scheme. As the launch process progresses over the next month, I believe you will soon be able to use DEX to swap assets, lend kUSD and exchange LKSM, among other real DeFi features.

As of June 23rd, Karura is in Phase 1, the Genesis block has been created and all KAR distribution addresses and data are now being determined. After this process is completed, Karura enters Phase 2, where technical validation and Runtime updates will be done, and after ensuring that KSMs can be transferred between Kusama and Karura, KARs will be distributed, and all users participating in Crowdloan will also need to claim their own bidding rewards, and finally, Council governance will begin. Finally, Council Governance will be opened.

The first thing we will do in Phase 3 after Council Governance is to remove Sudo and open the bridge between BTC and ETH, then we will open the DEX function and lending kUSD function through Governance, and once the function is stable, we will open the transfer and the first version of LKSM. After that, we will start the proposal to introduce USDT, upgrade the Staking liquidity product, and deploy Acala EVM to Karura.

Once all the features are stable, we will proceed with the election of board members by ballot.
