Interview with Knight Lab: Looking to the Art block NFT artist incubator

Thank you very much for taking the time to participate in one of our interviews. The friends are very interested in the NFTs that Knight Lab will release. Here are some questions compiled by the friends:

1. Hi, can you briefly introduce the founding team of Knight Lab?

Ok, we were established in the summer of 2021. The team is mainly composed of blockchain practitioners, artists, and algorithm engineers. Everyone lives in different countries and cities, but they all share a common understanding of nft, blockchain and web3. Faith, that’s what brought us together and started this project together. We believe that these new technologies will change the way people socialize, produce content, and transact and revolutionize our lives in the very near future.

2. I read some introductions of Knight DAO. Do you want to do an artist incubator similar to Art block? Can you describe it to your friends in detail? And how to maintain the operation of this incubator ecology.

Yes, we have a little similarity with artblock. We will screen artists who have potential and believe in blockchain technology, and jointly develop nft projects with them, in which we will provide artists with necessary help, such as information on this industry, support for code technology, and suggestions for nft design, etc. . The difference is that we have joined the governance of the DAO. Later, we will allow Pass holders to truly participate in the construction of the community, contribute their professional skills, and implement decisions together. For example, the fund library of our community, in the same way as naus dao, uses voting governance to do more crossovers, expand the application scenarios of NFT, enrich the application scenarios, and expand the influence of KnightLab. These are all pass holders can follow us. participating together.

To maintain the healthy operation of the incubator ecology, we will start from two aspects. On the one hand, through the governance of our dao, we will absorb and convert the energy of the members in the dao, and enable two-way empowerment. On the other hand, we will have a separate budget for each project to ensure that the project can be successfully completed and released.

3. Can you give us a detailed introduction to Knight DAO’s long-term community operation plan in the future?

Our future community members will mainly include two parts, one is the people who hold our DAO token Knight Pass, we need to make some plans and strategies around our core community, the consensus of these people is for the construction of our community is crucial.

The second part is the people who hold the NFT of our single project. They are more concerned about the artistic quality and roadmap of the independent project, so for us, the single project should also be taken care of under our general direction. .

Therefore, the long-term operation is also the process of splicing the projects one by one into a blueprint. This process must be full of challenges for Knight Lab.

4. We know that in the NFT field, the voice of the community and the rights and interests of long-term NFT holders are very important. How does Knight DAO achieve hold-to-earn for NFT holders?

Hold-to-earn is the highlight of our project. As I said before, one of our dao’s core benefits is that we can mint ten future projects for free, and we will learn from the previous experience when creating each project. . We believe that nft is likely to explode, and we also believe that in the experience of one project after another, we and our community will quickly grow into the people who know nft best in this field. So here hold-to-earn is not only about money, but also about the most important track in the future.

5. Which artists does Knight DAO currently collaborate with? what kind of artist

We now work with visual artists, illustrators, animators, architects, and contemporary artists on projects. The types of projects are also relatively diverse, ranging from flat avatar projects to 3D avatar projects to replayable game projects and metaverse construction projects.

In addition, the focus of our work this year is to connect some projects to the metaverse, or to design the possibility of connecting to the metaverse in the future.

Our ideal is to create our own metaverse world, called Knighty World, that is neither as purposeful as Ready Player One nor as centralized as Westworld. What we want is for everyone to live in the metaverse, play, explore, live the way we want, and embrace our diversity as individuals.

6. Is the Knight Pass that you see on the official website the founding NFT of the platform, or is it just the work of a single artist? Can you give a detailed introduction to the rights and interests of the holders?

Yes, knight pass is our founding nft and was done with an excellent visual artist. There are many rights and interests of pass holders, and there are detailed information on our official website. To give a few examples, for example, you can participate in the decision of one of our projects and have the right to vote, you can mint our next ten projects for free, and you have the opportunity to let our artists customize and create exclusive nft avatars, etc.

7. Can you introduce the Meta Mech NFT works to be released on the official website in detail?

Meta mech is our first nft avatar project and an important character in our future metaverse knighty world. The project concept is a cool flying humanoid robot, which has its own emotions and thoughts, but also incorporates symbols of different cultures, such as the transformation from a spectator of human civilization to a participant.

8. According to the information I have learned, the team plans to release ten projects within a year, right? How to ensure the successful launch of each project and quality community operations?

Ten projects a year sounds like a lot, but in fact, we have started seven projects at this stage, three of which are nearing completion, one project is halfway through, and the other three projects have also been started and are being created. in the process. So we have done a lot of practical work before releasing the pass to ensure that our holders can get these ten different styles of nfts.

9. Can you briefly introduce the royalties of Knight LAB and the planning of the DAO treasury?

Most of our project royalties go into the treasury. Treasury funds are mainly used for the second phase of research and development of some successful projects and to provide financial guarantees for new projects. At the same time, it can also deal with some emergencies. As you have always mentioned about the project side, the treasury is the foundation of our pattern and the confidence of DAO holders.

10. The current competitive advantage of the founding team

The biggest advantage of the project founding team is its comprehensiveness and diversity. Our team includes practitioners from various perspectives in the nft industry, so we can consider more comprehensively in development and decision-making. Another point is that the members of our team have different cultural backgrounds and life backgrounds, so we can largely avoid the incompatibility in different cultures. The last and most important point is that all of us are very strong in execution. I believe it is not difficult to see from our current project progress.

Thank you so much for participating in this FastDaily interview, and I wish you a happy life!
