The DJI Mini SE looks similar to the DJI Mavic Mini, although its controller is clearly different. In addition, it will have a 12-megapixel 1/2.3-inch sensor and support for recording 2.7K video. It also has a three-axis gimbal, with a flight time of up to 30 minutes and a maximum distance of 4 kilometers for image transmission.

However, the DJI Mini SE is positioned as a cheap entry-level model and will not have advanced features such as automatic obstacle avoidance and auto-tracking.

We understand that the DJI Mini 2 drone is currently priced at $2,899 and can record video at 4K/30fps with a maximum distance of 10km. The DJI Mini SE drone may even be priced as low as $2,000, according to the news.
