CoinFund Leads $2.3 Million Investment in Crypto Gaming Startup Community Gaming

Community Gaming allows users to organize gaming tournaments on the ethereum mainnet, BSC, and Polygon.

Community Gaming, a crypto gaming startup, has raised $2.3 million in a seed funding round led by CoinFund, BitTrust News said. The round also attracted investments from Dapper Labs, Multicoin Capital, Rally founder Kevin Chou, Kevin Durant’s Thirty Five Ventures, and non-fungible token (NFT) collector WhaleShark and other well-known backers to make investments.

Chris Gonsalves, CEO of Community Gaming, which allows users to organize gaming tournaments on the ethereum mainnet, the Binance smartchain or Polygon, said the capital injection follows ConsenSys’ earlier seed investment and will be used to hire more staff and to Latin America and Southeast Asia to grow the platform’s business. The platform’s active user base is growing rapidly, having doubled to 20,000 in June alone.
