Bitcoin mining company Luxor has raised $5 million in Series A funding led by financial services firm NYDIG.

Bitcoin mining company Luxor has raised a $5 million Series A round of funding led by financial services firm NYDIG, The Block reported on June 10.

According to a press release issued Wednesday, Bitnomial, Hodl Capital and Routemaster participated in the financing, as well as Blockware Solutions, Celsius Network, DPO, Navier and Supplybit. Luxor also said it raised funding from a group of angel investors.

Luxor develops mining pool software and data visualization tools for the mining industry. On Monday, Luxor announced an agreement with mining company Canada Computational Unlimited to expand the use of its software.

Robert Gutmann, co-founder and CEO of NYDIG, said in a statement

We are excited to lead this Series A round of funding and to work with Luxor to develop their first-of-its-kind product and competencies for the North American mining industry.
According to data collected by The Block, bitcoin miners earned a total of $1.45 billion in revenue in May.
