Over $800 million in venture capital poured into the cryptocurrency space in the past week

More than $800 million in venture capital has poured into the cryptocurrency space over the past week, according to PitchBook. Some of the larger funding rounds include $400 million from FTX, $109 million from Phantom, $80 million from Layer-2 infrastructure company Qredo, and $69.42 million from Dune Analytics. Meanwhile, Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian’s venture capital firm Seven Seven Six (776) closed a $500 million venture fund that was oversubscribed, including $300 million to fund early-stage startups, $200 million to fund growth-stage companies.
