Fidelity announces that it will launch a spot Bitcoin ETF in Canada

According to news on December 1, Fidelity Investments, an asset management company, has received approval from Canadian regulatory authorities to launch a spot Bitcoin ETF in Canada. And recent reports indicate that the company has no intention of waiting for the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to make a decision on whether to allow the establishment of a spot Bitcoin ETF in the country. It is reported that the ETF is the Fidelity Advantage Bitcoin ETF and will directly obtain physical Bitcoin. Currently, Fidelity Investments manages approximately US$4.2 trillion in assets.
