According to CNN, the White House is currently finalizing a strategy to combat the ransomware hacker organization REvil, which involves cooperation with the Five Eyes Alliance (the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand). The National Security Council plans to strengthen network security. At the same time, related companies are prohibited from paying cryptocurrency ransoms, and foreign cryptocurrency exchanges need to report suspicious transactions to the government. Earlier news, the hacker organization REvil attacked at least 200 American companies and demanded that these companies use Monero to pay a ransom of approximately $45,000.
