Survey: 93% of IFAs do not recommend investing in cryptocurrencies to their clients

A survey by British research firm Opinium on Wednesday showed that about nine in 10 independent financial advisers (IFAs) in Britain would not recommend cryptocurrencies or so-called meme stocks to their clients, Reuters news agency said. The survey, based on 200 IFAs in the U.K., showed that 93 percent of IFAs do not recommend that their clients invest in cryptocurrencies. However, the survey also revealed that a third of IFA clients have expressed an increased interest in cryptocurrencies this year.
