Data: African P2P Bitcoin Trading Volume Grows 15% to 30% in the Last Six Months

BeinCrypto News, UsefulTulips data shows that P2P bitcoin trading volumes in most African countries have grown by 15 to 30 percent over the past six months. For reference, P2P bitcoin transaction volumes in North America actually declined by 18 percent. in May 2021, P2P bitcoin transaction volumes in sub-Saharan Africa were about $17 million, up about 50 percent from a year ago. Africa was the fastest growing of all continents in terms of P2P bitcoin transaction volumes. Overall, North America remains the most active, despite a significant decline.
