Over $48 Million in Cash and Cryptocurrencies Seized in Joint Operation by European and U.S. Law Enforcement

According to Reuters news agency, officials from Europol, the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Sweden and the Netherlands detailed on Tuesday the details that provided the European component of the global wiretapping operation. Europol Deputy Executive Director jean – philippe Lecouffe said law enforcement officials from 16 countries arrested a total of more than 800 suspects and seized more than $48 million in cash and cryptocurrencies.
