Officially, the U.S. Senate Committee on Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs will hold a hearing on the topic “Building a Stronger Financial System: Opportunities for Central Bank Digital Currency” on June 9 at 14:20 EST, with participants including Neha Narula, director of the Digital Currency Initiative at MIT, and Lev Menen, a researcher at Columbia Law School.
