Ripple opposes SEC’s motion to extend deposition period in case

According to AMBcrypto, June 4, Ripple responded to the SEC’s request to extend the deposition deadline for Ripple’s disclosure case by 60 days, saying that the documents and records the SEC claims are irrelevant to the case. The SEC’s request for additional depositions, including adding more than 50 percent of the testimony, should have been denied. the SEC chose to reopen the testimony of five individuals who had already taken sworn testimony in the investigation, rather than naming new witnesses. It must now accept that choice.” Ripple attorneys called the SEC’s request for additional depositions unreasonable and ultimately asked the court not to extend the depositions.
