Binance Announces Global Advisory Council, Chaired by Former U.S. Senator

Binance has created an advisory board to help cryptocurrency exchanges address some of the most pressing regulatory issues facing the space, Golden Finance reports. Former U.S. Ambassador to China and former U.S. Senator Max Baucus will lead the newly formed Binance Advisory Unit, which will deal with regulatory complexities. Eleven members including HyungRin Bang, advisor to the Korean Presidential Council, Bruno Bezard, former French Minister of Finance, Henrique de Campos Meirelles, former Brazilian Minister of Economy, and David Wright, former Secretary General of the International Organization of Securities Commissions, joined the board. “We are enhancing our ability to manage regulatory complexity by leveraging the highest level of expertise in the world,” Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao said in a statement.
