Ukraine to amend virtual asset law in line with EU crypto rules

Ukraine is updating its laws and bills applicable to cryptocurrencies to align the country’s legislation with European standards, Golden Finance reports. Several government agencies in Kyiv are preparing to amend a bill “on virtual assets” that became law earlier this year. It is reported that Ukraine will be revised in accordance with the provisions of the European Union’s Crypto Asset Market (MiCA) legislative program. In February, Ukraine passed a revised virtual asset bill, which was signed into law by Ukrainian President Zelenskyy in March. (Bitcoin.com)
